PERFECT BIVVY RANGE - DESIGNED TO PERFECTION!
HOT SPOT Boat Bivvy 3
For those looking for multifunctional weather protection for their boat, we have designed this tunnel bivvy. We have added a third frame, which offers several advantages: Increases stability and allows you to use more stable frame supports that have no stretch. To further increase stability, we chose a 19mm frame made of 6061 T 6 aluminum instead of the common 16mm. The back can be fixed with two ropes. The shell is made of 210 D polyester with a water column of 10,000 mm, because there is no better shell.
The Hot Spot Boat Bivvy 3 can be mounted on all common boat types, such as Carolina Skiff, Boston Whaler or similar and can be adjusted with the shell overlay. The Boat Bivvy 3 can also be used on land (pegs not included), offering space for 1 or 2 people.
The boat bivvy can be used with boats between 170 and 250cm wide. For other sizes there is a danger that the frames will break! Good visibility and exit is guaranteed by the entrance door with transparent window and polyester cover. The integrated 2-way zipper allows you to open both sides and even pull it out completely. The back has an extra long polyester cover (Groundsheet material) that is long enough to touch the ground of any boat, so no more rain inside the back of your boat's bivvy. The back also has zips in both directions and can be removed completely. The back can be attached to the sides with clips. All zips have rain covers attached, so they will stay dry no matter the circumstances.
The outside is secured with a tension strap and D-rings every 500mm to the edge of the boat. To assemble the boat bivvy, put the tension straps around the boat, insert the first frame, drive the tension strap further, assemble the second frame, add the frame supports and repeat with the third frame. Finally, you can straighten your back with the tension bands located at the top of your back.
When designing the Hot SPot Boat Bivvy 3 we talked to a lot of anglers and, more importantly, we listened to them! So we haven't just built a boat bivvy that's better than anything else, we've tailored it to your wants and needs!
This led to the following new features:
- The ground has a larger portion of groundsheet material, to make the bivvy more resistant to abrasion. This is very important in anchoring.
- The rear door has been widened
- The back door has been lengthened, so it won't rain anymore
- The front door has a rain cover, so it will drip inside too
- 2 rod holders inside - your additional rods will be safe and sound and secondly well hidden
